Vancouver Fringe 2008 - Review A Show on Plank Magazine

Last night, as I moved through the doors of the theatre to watch my first Fringe show in over three years, I was given a small piece of paper. I didn't notice at first - it was just a small card hand out from the nice Fringe volunteers, after all. What could be so important on such a small piece of paper? I shoved it into my jacket pocket and mentally noted that I could read it later. But, after choosing my seat and deciding I had a number of minutes to kill before curtain, I flipped the card over in the dim light.

It read: "Find Your Voice. Review a Fringe show at Plank Magazine."

I had no idea these cards were being handed out at the shows. This bit of paper that I had dismissed earlier was now far more valuable. If you get one of these cards, take it home with you and think about the show you watched. Jot down a few notes. Talk to your friends about it. Share the card around!

I encourage all audience people to take a few minutes and post your thoughts about what shows you've seen. It can be a few words, a couple of sentences, or write up an essay - we'd be happy to share it with others.

Why not view the show list and post a few thoughts.
