We're on the Fringe and it was 25 years ago today...

You'll have noticed that we've been covering this year's "Toronto Fringe Festival":http://www.fringetoronto.com/fringe09/index.html. Big thanks have to go to our intrepid reviewers Justin Haigh and Ryan West for taking in so many shows and giving us the news from the front lines.

Behind the scenes we are cooking up how we will be covering this year's "Victoria":http://www.intrepidtheatre.com/fringe09.php and "Vancouver Fringe":http://www.vancouverfringe.com/ Festivals. You'll hopefully remember that last year we made a commitment to review every show at the 2008 Vancouver Fringe - and we almost made it (undone by a couple of unfriendly locations and a group of reviewers frightened to leave the city). Well, we're going to try again, more information soon!

Speaking of the Vancouver Fringe, they are marking their 25th anniversary with a party next week with the amazing Jay Brazeau hosting. The party promises to trip through the Fringeworld fun house, past and present and will include a presentation called: 25 Stories from 25 Years in 25 Minutes. Your $15 ticket includes two free drinks and Hors d'oeuvres, courtesy of Dockside Restaurant.

More information and how to buy tickets can be found "here":http://www.vancouverfringe.com/25th-anniversary/
